Don’t Fall Into Satan’s Trap

DON’T FALL INTO SATAN’S TRAP

As we grow closer to the Lord, Satan sets his traps. He wants us to stumble. He will try harder and harder to lasso our spirit. We have to be ready with God’s armor. When we feel weakened we must pray even more to gain back strength to fight off the enemy. But caution must be taken in order that we not sin. If someone accuses you falsely or throws verbal abuse at you never turn your behavior into one that duplicates the behavior of the one casting stones or throwing the fiery darts at you. Sure it hurts, but we must remember we are not here to have the acceptance of man. It is the Lord we want acceptance from. Just remember in order to please God we need to care and love those who harm us.
God Bless all of You!
Philippians 4:13    I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me.

Ephesians 6

The Armor of God

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.
11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
13 Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.
14 Stand firm therefore, HAVING GIRDED YOUR LOINS WITH TRUTH, and HAVING PUT ON THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS,
15 and having shod YOUR FEET WITH THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE;
16 in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
17 And take THE HELMET OF SALVATION, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Every morning, and throughout the day when you are being tested and tried,
you may want to use this as an outline to guide you in prayer.
Picture yourself being surrounded by God’s power and empowered by Jesus
as he gives you each part of the full armor of God!

A. The Helmet of Salvation
1. My acceptance of Jesus as Lord and Savior saves me! (John 3:16) Have you accepted Jesus? Thank Jesus for saving you and reclaim his protection, healing and power for today and for eternity!
2. Put on the mind of Christ. One of the ways Satan pulls us down is through our mind. “As a man thinketh in his heart, so he is” (Proverbs 23:7). Examine what you say to yourself, what you think about, and invite Jesus to replace your thoughts with his thoughts. The Bible says that we can “have the mind of Christ” (1 Co. 2:16b). Pray that “Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus” (Phil. 2:5). Envision a helmet placed over your head to cleanse and protect your thoughts.

B. The Breastplate of Righteousness
1. A right relationship with God (righteousness) begins with repentance. When sin is working in our lives, we are being separated from God. Confess any sin (1 John 1:8-9) and any trust you have placed in getting right by being good enough (Eph. 2:8-9). Claim Jesus’ blood to wash away every sin and make you right with God.
2. Invite Jesus to make you into his likeness (Rom. 8:29). Focus on letting Jesus fill you with his light and goodness, pushing out anything else. Envision Jesus filling your body with light and placing radiant armor all around your chest and back.

C. The Belt of Truth
1. God’s Word promise that “you will know the truth and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). Invite Jesus to show you the truth about yourself, both beautiful and ugly. You need not fear what others say if you know the truth about yourself.
2. The Evil One and the world are filled with deceptions. Pray for the gift of the Spirit to discern what is true about others and the world (1 Jn.4:1-2). Ask God’s grace to know and to believe and to speak and to live only the truth. Envision Jesus wrapping a wide, pure white belt around your waist, the belt of truth.

D. The Sandals of Peace
1. Stand in the Peace of God. “Allow the peace of God to rule in our hearts” (Col. 3:15). “Be still and know that I AM God” (Psalm 46:10). “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus” (Phil. 4:6-7).
2. Be ready to be reconciled with those with whom you are in conflict. Jesus teaches, “agree quickly with your adversary” (Mt. 5:26). Don’t accept false guilt, but look courageously within yourself for the truth of any accusation and confess it. Be quick to ask forgiveness, to give it, and to seek healing for hurts in ourselves and others. “Happy are the peacemakers for they shall be called the sons and daughters of God” (Mat. 5:9). Envision Jesus giving you new shoes so you can stand solidly and also run swiftly to meet others in peace. Put the shoes on your feet.

E. The Shield of Faith
The arrows with which we are assaulted are temptations, fears, and doubts about God and ourselves. The shield of which Paul writes is a large thick shield. When burning arrows were shot in warfare, the arrows sunk into the thick, layered wood of the shield and were quickly extinguished. Envision yourself holding a large shield with which you can stop any burning arrows shot toward you. That shield is faith in Jesus Christ, who let Satan do his worst to him on the cross, and who rose up in victory! “Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Co. 15:57).

F. The Sword of the Spirit
So often we get tied in knots: family or cultural traditions, habits or addictions, promises we have made, or rules others (not God) have written on our hearts. Fears, desires, and all kinds of spiritual forces of in our world hold us in bondage. As we see the threats, temptations, illnesses and habits that bind us from living in health and freedom, envision Jesus giving you the sword of the Spirit. Take it and cut any bonds that have imprisoned you.
The sword of the Spirit is the Word of God. To claim its power, read and study your Bible, and memorize sections of it so that you have God’s Word on your heart and ready when you are tested. Listen also for God’s
living Word in every event or inner nudging of your day or night. “God works together with those who love Him to make GOOD in ALL THINGS” (Romans 8:28).

G. Final Prayers
Paul tells us to complete our preparations by praying in the Spirit. Let the Holy Spirit lead you in worshiping God. Pray also for others, that all of God’s people may stand strong and faithful in the armor of God!

Armor of God Prayer Outline:
Picture yourself putting on:

1. The Helmet of Salvation
Re-claim and celebrate your salvation.
Let Christ give you his mind and thoughts
2. The Breastplate of Righteousness
Get right with God by confessing any sin.
Invite Jesus to make you into his likeness.
3. The Belt of Truth
Ask Jesus to show you the truth about yourself.
Ask for discernment to know God’s leading from that of the Evil One.
4. The Sandals of Peace
Exhale fully and breathe in the Peace of God.
Invite the Holy Spirit to show you anyone with whom you need to be reconciled. Forgive them and seek your forgiveness.
5. The Shield of Faith
Envision yourself with a mighty shield, capturing and extinguishing doubts and temptations.
6. The Sword of the Spirit
Take the sword to cut yourself free from anything that restricts you from living in faith and health.
Praise God for His Word, in the Bible and in life.
7. Final Prayers
Let the Holy Spirit lead you in worshiping God and intercede for others God brings to mind.

The Armor of God as described in Ephesians 6:10-18 provides defensive and offensive weapons Christians are given to fight and win the spiritual battle for their souls. With a devil intent on stealing, killing and destroying everything Godly and good, this Armor is absolutely necessary to counteract every attack.

In verse 11, the Apostle Paul writes, “Put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Dictionary.com defines the word ‘wiles’ as “artful or beguiling behavior; a trick, artifice or stratagem meant to fool, trap or entice.” With this in mind, Christians should not underestimate the lengths that the devil will go to divide and conquer, and to prevent the fulfillment of one’s destiny in Christ.

To protect and to have power, Christians must put on the Armor of God every day, preferably in the morning. While reading Ephesians 6:10-18 can help Christians put on their armor, some people have found it useful to recite a prayer aloud in order to prepare for the day’s battle, whatever it may be. The following is one version of such a prayer.

Stand therefore, having girded your waist with the truth
Thank you Lord for Your truth as described in your Bible. You are truth and You alone set me free from sin and lies. Today, I choose to believe Your truth and about who You are and who I am as Your child. Holy Spirit, lead and guide my thoughts in Your path of truth. Help me to make wise decisions today based on Your Word. Help me to speak the truth in love to myself and others. Let Your truth prevail in all things.

Having put on the breastplate of righteousness
Thank you Lord for Your breastplate of righteousness. I put it on and it will protect me throughout the day. I remove any robes of self-righteousness or works of the law that would glory myself and distract me from the finished work of Jesus at the cross. I now put on Your righteousness. With Your breastplate, I will protect my heart, for out of it flows the issues of life. Help me to keep my heart clean and pure before you and to use the breastplate of righteousness to resist sin and self-indulgence.

And having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace
Thank You Father for Your good news of peace to me, and to the world. I put on Your gospel of peace that I might share it with everyone I come in contact with. May my steps be secure and protected today. Prepare me to speak with wisdom about Your love and the blessings you have in store for the upright. Help me to live from peace and walk as a peacemaker.

Above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one
Father, I thank You that You are my shield and the glory and lifter of my head. I want to please You, Lord, today with my faith in You. I put my hope in You as my Savior, though I do not always see what You have in store and don’t always understand what you are doing. My trust in You puts you between the enemy and me. I am forever secure in You and inaccessible to my enemy. Today, I will sow seeds of faith that will result in miracles and blessings.

And take the helmet of salvation
Father, thank You for saving me from sin and death. I receive your gift of salvation, deliverance and healing. I have the mind of Christ and I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Help me to think pure thoughts and to remember to praise You and glorify You for making me a new creation. Make my mind new and help me not to be ignorant of the plans of the enemy. With the helmet of salvation, I will retain the mind of Christ and reject the plans of the enemy.

And the sword of the spirit, which is the Word of God
Thank You father for the weapon of Your Word and Your Spirit. When the enemy comes to steal, kill or destroy me or those I love, quicken Scripture to me so that I can stand and fight the spiritual battle. May my sword (God’s Word) be fully exercised to defeat the enemy today.

In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

Losing A Loved One to Suicide~

11 Jul

Loss of a loved one to suicide.

Now Comes THE QUESTION Many Have Asked Me~

Some question rather one can be saved if one takes their own life. God would never cause one to do that, but he would allow Satan too. Sin allows Satan in, but Jesus died for our sins. I know the pain of losing a loved one very well, and it leaves those left behind feeling lost and trying to understand why it happened. In 2006, I felt like I was having a nightmare only I could not wake up from it. My daughter’s boyfriend (Sammy) took his own life. Without question it was the worst pain I ever endured. What magnified the pain was some Christians telling me he was condemned to Hell. I cried and prayed to the Lord. I was so concerned over Sammy’s spirit, asking the Lord for HIS answer. I prayed for the Lord’s spiritual wisdom and one day after going on a jog and praying (what I like to refer to as a spiritual run) asking the Lord to help me, God answered my prayer. I came home and just opened my bible, and it seemed to come alive as a scripture popped out at me. 1 Corinthians 5:5 “I have decided to deliver such a one to Satan for the Destruction of his flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.” It was the answer I hoped for and God gave me an immediate peace and understanding. Sammy had a such a caring heart. I know he knew Jesus. GOD WARNS US OF JUDGING OTHERS. We have NO right to condemn one to Hell because God is merciful. It is HIS job to judge, and our job is to love each other and share God’s word.

God says in Matthew 7:1-2 “Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.”

“Remember this, God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those called according to HIS purpose.” Romans 8:28 The Lord used Sammy in my life, HE turned it into a way to serve HIS purpose and help others. The Lord showed me how Sammy was going to reach hearts and share God’s word. The Lord knew how much Sammy loved helping people. He knew how Sammy wanted to be a life-guard because he wanted to save lives. He knew Sammy’s heart. He had a bigger plan for Sammy. God could have stopped Satan, but God had a plan. God sees the big puzzle while we only see pieces of it. When all the pieces come together then we will see the full picture. In John 11:25-26 Jesus said. “The man who believes in me will live even though he dies, and anyone who is alive and believes in me will never die at all. We never know what God has in store for us. God is patient with us. Just know God never makes mistakes, it is just our lack of understanding. Ask Jesus to show you the way!

~When Life Becomes Too Much~

When life becomes too much to bear
With only pain in sight…
Some folks make the choice to die,
By taking their own life. In just one moment, all is lost,
And nothing can replace…
The broken hearts of loved ones dear,
Or the tears that stain their face.

Yet somehow they get through it,
With the grace of God, they do…
Time can heal the deepest wound,
and bring new peace to you. You’ll never know the reason

And it’s not for you to say…

But God responds to every need; Just trust He’ll make a way.

~Remember The Love I Gave~

Don’t judge me for how I left this world,
remember the love that I gave.
A lot of grief will follow me,
for the decision that I have made.

Changes appear in everyone’s life,
some good, some bad.
The one that I chose for myself
made everyone very sad.

But in time, memories will heal the hurt of hearts
and my presence will be felt by all with an inner peace.
Remember me when the sun is bright and laughter fills the air,
and a moonlit night and whispers of wind
will tell you that I am there.

Don’t look down on my family
or fill their hearts with blame.
For my leaving them without good-byes,
they will never be the same.

If I could go back in time, I say a last good-bye,
I’d tell them to look to tomorrow
and for me……do not cry……

Those Who Have Lost a Loved One to Suicide

Sammy Flores Jr.

Sammy Flores Jr~ April 20, 1987 – May 6, 2006
I pray for all those who have lost a loved one to suicide. It is never easy for those left behind. The only way to truly find any comfort is through our precious Lord.  Praying for all of Sammy’s family and friends.
RIP Sammy, you live on in the hearts of all those who loved and knew you!

~Sammy Lives On~

Sammy helped me to see things more clearly. We can’t always choose the situations that life brings us, but we can choose the attitude we will use to face them. The best way to stop worrying or to receive comfort is to start praying. But God may not give us comfort if it keeps us from doing what he wants us to do. Learn from the mistakes of others. We will never live long enough to make them all ourselves. Pray for people who dislike you. Whenever you feel insignificant, remember how important you are to God. Encourage each other and build each other up. A word spoken in anger cannot be erased. It plays over and over again. Walk on soles, not on souls. Be generous with praise and stingy with criticism. To belittle is to be little. And remember what happens in us is more important than what happens to us.

A Little Tribute

A little tribute true and tender,
Just to show that we remember,
Time may pass and fade away,
But memories of you will always stay!

Missing someone get’s easier everyday,
Because even though it is one day further
from the last time you saw each other
it’s one day closer to the next time you will!

Gain and loss, birth and death
are in the hands of God!

Having a Thorn In Our Flesh Is A Blessing!!!

Having a Thorn In Our Flesh Is A Blessing!!!

Situations that would have most of us wanting to avoid, help our lives like no other experience. I know there are treasures to be found in our suffering. God allowed Satan to torment Paul for God’s own good purposes and always within God’s perfect will. What we do know about this thorn in the flesh comes from Paul himself in

2 Corinthians 12:7 “To keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me.

It was to keep Paul humble.

2 Corinthians 12:8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

We can see Paul wanted the thorn removed but the Lord knew what was best and allowed Paul to understand why he needed it.
Whether Paul’s ‘thorn’ was physical sickness or something else, it taught us a great lesson. Christ deviated the fiery dart with such precision that it punctured only that part of Paul that was in danger of bloating with pride. That dart crossed through the scarred hands of Jesus and entered Paul as a manifestation of divine love and wisdom.
Our scars are our testimonies to boost in the Lord and show glory to him.

Paul’s discomfort became necessary because the sin of pride loomed dangerously near.

2 Corinthians 12:1-7
We can learn pride is not something the Lord desires for his Children. It is important we have a humble heart. Pruning Is the way the Lord molds us to serve his purpose for our lives.
We need to be thankful for our thorns!!!

Romans 8:18
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

Wishing Great Blessings To Each and Everyone of YOU!

Why does God allow Satan to unleash evil on Christians?

8 Jun

Why Does God Allow Satan To Unleash Evil On Christians?

As children of God, we are disciplined. The trials and hardships are blessings. Endurance is what helps make us complete and worthy in the eyes of the Lord.

When we read the book of Job it is interesting how before Satan could unleash evil on Job he had to get permission from God. The significance here is that Satan is answerable to God; he needs permission from the Lord in order to unleash evil on the Lord’s servants. So then we ask why would God allow Satan to attack His children? The reason for this is because God wishes to honor our free will; not just the free will itself, but the consequences which come with it.
The word shows us two reasons.
One is for discipline
and One is for trials

“True faith is not getting from God what we want in life, true faith is accepting what God has planned for our lives.” Accepting what God has planned for our lives may mean enduring pain and hardship. We do this through patience that is a “Fruit of the Spirit”. We cannot do it in our own strength. We must rely upon the Holy Spirit of God. Job’s question is still valid today “Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?” God’s will for our life may involve both good and trouble and we should be willing to accept this through patient endurance as God may be using us as an example to reach others with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The book of Job goes into great detail as to the emotions that Job experienced over a considerable period of time.  As the knowledge of the loss of his children sunk in, the physical affliction of his body continued, and the accusation of his friends mounted, you could say Job was down in the dumps. Job’s friends believed that Job had sinned and that God was punishing him for un-confessed sin. Job’s friends questioned Job’s integrity. But we know that was not the case.  Job 1:8 The LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, fearing God and turning away from evil.”
We see Job was a righteous man.
By the end of the book, we see that even though Job didn’t fully comprehend what was going on in his life he realized God did and that was what really mattered. This awareness that God is in control allows us to patiently endure life’s trials even though we may not fully understand the why.

Discipline
Hebrews 12
5 and you have forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you as sons,
“MY SON, DO NOT REGARD LIGHTLY THE DISCIPLINE OF THE LORD,
NOR FAINT WHEN YOU ARE REPROVED BY HIM;
6 FOR THOSE WHOM THE LORD LOVES HE DISCIPLINES,
AND HE SCOURGES EVERY SON WHOM HE RECEIVES.”
7 It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline?
8 But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
9 Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of spirits, and live?
10 For they disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good, so that we may share His holiness.
11 All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.
12 Therefore, strengthen the hands that are weak and the knees that are feeble,
13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that the limb which is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather be healed.
14 Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord.
Trials
James 1
2 Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials,
3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
4 And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
12 Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
2 Corinthians 13
11 Finally, brethren, rejoice, be made complete, be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.

God Bless Each and Everyone of you!

THE WRITTEN WORD MEANS NOTHING WITHOUT LOVE!

2 Jun

Jesus Made Love Mandatory

THE WRITTEN WORD MEANS NOTHING WITHOUT LOVE!

When we use the written word it must be submerged with love in order to help us see the truth.

The word comes alive in the hearts of men and women filled with love!

James 2:13
For judgment will be merciless to one who has shown no mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment.

If we use the written word without love we are worshiping in vain!

Matthew 22: 36-40

Jesus tells us love is the greatest commandment. We are to love him and others. Without love we have nothing.
Without Love means there is No mercy or forgiveness. It causes division, it breaks up families, it is always judging others and casting stones.
We are to be the lights of the world and walk in the Spirit!
Having a heart filled with the fruit of the Spirit, allowing it to pour out on others.

Galatians 5
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

A heart filled with love has No room for hate!

Beware of Deception!

24 May
 Beware of Deception!

We are living in a time when we really must beware of the warnings in the written word! We must use discernment!

Jesus warned us!!!

Matthew 24:24For false christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.

1 John 4
1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; 3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world.

2 John 1
7 For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist. 8 Watch yourselves, that you do not lose what we have accomplished, but that you may receive a full reward. 9 Anyone who goes too far and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God; the one who abides in the teaching, he has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house, and do not give him a greeting; 11 for the one who gives him a greeting participates in his evil deeds.

Matthew 24
4 And Jesus answered and said to them, “See to it that no one misleads you. 5 “For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ, ’ and will mislead many.

Satan is clever he mixes truth with lies and twists it together so it is hard to see the deceit. Satan will make it appear to be something good and will package it like that, offering the world peace and Unity!

We must remember Satan has many tricks!!!!

2 Corinthians 11:14 No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light

1 Peter 5
8 Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; NO ONE comes to the Father but through Me. That’s pretty clear. Jesus is the one and only door to eternal life.

John 10:9 “I am the gate (door); whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture.” (verse 7) The one and the only door. The door.

Think about this, Noah’s ark had only one door. How many doors are there to heaven? One. Jesus is the only way to heaven. Jesus is the Door. He’s the only way to heaven. Buddha can’t save us. Mohammad can’t save us. According to the word of God, Jesus is the only way! The only door!

We have those teaching there are other ways. But Jesus says they are thieves and robbers.

John 10: 1 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbs up some other way, he is a thief and a robber.

Acts 4:12 Salvation is found in NO ONE else, for there is NO other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.

2 Timothy 3
14 You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17 so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

Matthew 7:
15 “Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 “You will know them by their fruits.

The written word warns us of deceiving Spirits and false Christ. These warnings should be an eye-opener for all Children of God!
Unity can only be found with Jesus the Messiah as the very foundation. Yet as children of God we are to love and pray for ALL mankind.

My prayer is NO one is deceived!
God Bless Each and Every One of You!

John: 3:16:  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.
