Psalm 22:28 For the kingdom is the LORD’S And He rules over the nations.

We are not always going to agree with our government but the Lord is concerned with the character of His children and how we act. A great example is the behavior of David. King Saul rejected God’s will and made up excuses for his motives, blaming others and never repenting. King Saul became very jealous of David and wanted him killed. David knew King Saul’s actions did not deserve respect, yet David honored Saul as his king and refused to kill him. David said, “The LORD forbid that I should lay a hand on the LORD’S anointed” 1 Samuel 26:11.

Be Subject to Government

1 Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves. 3 For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good and you will have praise from the same; 4 for it is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath on the one who practices evil. 5 Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of wrath, but also for conscience’ sake. 6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing. 7 Render to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor. 8 Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.

1 Peter 2:13-17

13 Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether to a king as the one in authority, 14 or to governors as sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and the praise of those who do right. 15 For such is the will of God that by doing right you may silence the ignorance of foolish men. 16 Act as free men, and do not use your freedom as a covering for evil, but use it as bondslaves of God. 17 Honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king. 18 Servants, be submissive to your masters with all respect, not only to those who are good and gentle, but also to those who are unreasonable. 19 For this finds favor, if for the sake of conscience toward God a person bears up under sorrows when suffering unjustly. 20 For what credit is there if, when you sin and are harshly treated, you endure it with patience? But if when you do what is right and suffer for it you patiently endure it, this finds favor with God.

With all that said we are still to keep the Lord first and not let anything (including the government) or everyone stop us from sharing the Good News!

Acts 5:27 When they had brought them, they stood them before the Council. The high priest questioned them, 28 saying, “We gave you strict orders not to continue teaching in this name, and yet, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.” 29 But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men. 30 “The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you had put to death by hanging Him on a cross. 31 “He is the one whom God exalted to His right hand as a Prince and a Savior, to grant repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. 32 the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him.”

The greatest thing we can do is PRAY for our leaders.

1 First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. 3 This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given at the proper time. 7 For this I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I am telling the truth, I am not lying) as a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth. 8 Therefore I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and dissension.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We pray You plant Your seed deeply within our children’s hearts and as they spend their days in school, they become a light for others, shining forth like the son/sun. Father, we pray that Your Word will be the basis of their wisdom and we ask that our prayers will blanket each school, placing them under Your wing.

We pray for the teachers, having faith in You Lord, strengthen them with Your mighty hand by giving them direction to steer our children’s growth in character and integrity.  Lord we pray many will come know You as their Lord and Savior.

Holy Spirit Email (Monday 8-2-2010)

I was so BLUE EYED…

I never thought the father of my child could possibly do all these things to wound me. I knew in my heart that God was calling out to me and asking me over and over, “Would you just turn to me? And have a little faith while your at it.” I decided to place myself around other brothers in Christ. I went to a church service called The Journey for my age group (25-30). I hadn’t heard from Derrek in any form or fashion for 5 days. I was so apprehensive about him and didn’t know where else to turn. This service was about letting go of the things in your life that could lead you to sin. I knew what God was telling me, but I didn’t want it to be so. He has been telling me to let go of Derrek, but it is so hard when you truly love someone with all your heart. I came home that night after service and was checking my email, hoping and praying that he at least wrote me something to let me know he was alive. I didn’t receive anything from Derrek. I was crying and praying to the Lord to just please help me understand. I continued to check my email that next couple of days and on that Sunday I was sitting in front of the computer crying […] Holy Spirit Email (Monday 8-2-2010).

Finding Comfort After The Loss of A Beloved Pet

~♥ Nothing is Impossible With God ♥~

Hope is where I find Comfort through LOVE..
1 Corinthians 13:7 “LOVE” bears all things,
believes all things,
hopes all things, endures all things.
It says ALL! So I have this HOPE ~

ღHope of Eternal Life For Our Beloved Petsღ

Love is the greatest commandment
and overpowers all the damaging negative
teachings that offer no hope.
It says love, hopes and believes ALL things!
With LOVE we are to hope ALL things, that is what the word teaches. As loving Children of God we should NEVER try to destroy that hope.

~The Bible Teaches Us To Have Hope In All Things~
The Lord gave me 19 wonderful years with my precious kitty, Baby. On May 18, 2008 she just vanished without a trace. Being an indoor kitty I could not understand how she would just vanish. I put signs around the neighborhood and called different vets looking for her. The pain was so great and we desired an answer. My oldest son and I both fasted and prayed, crying out to the Lord for an answer. The very next morning an old friend called me, telling me the Lord came to her in a dream and told her to tell me not to worry about my kitty. I knew that was the answer to our prayers, the Lord was letting us know she was in His hands. I felt an immediate comfort. Then the Lord put it in my heart to make a site to give others HOPE. The pain of losing a beloved pet is great and when the Lord heard our cries and answered our prayers the comfort I felt was great and I wanted to share this hope with others.
Baby became a member of our family!
Losing her, I felt like I lost my child.
I know I could have filled a bucket with tears
I have shed over losing her.
Out of Love I have HOPE she will be in Heaven.
I know the Lord has a greater purpose for her
and that is to help others with the pain
of losing their loving companion and show
we do have hope of them having Eternal life.
Some teach there will be no animals in heaven,
but no where in HIS word does it say that.
Love is eternal and our love for our pets will never die.
With LOVE we are to hope ALL things.
As loving Children of God we should NEVER try to destroy that hope.

The Lord said man alone was created “in the image and likeness of God”
Genesis 1:26-27
The word teaches us we must repent of our sins
and accept the Lord as our Savior..

We must be born again..
So how can a pet go to heaven.
They don’t sin, they are not made in the image of God.

So how is it possible.

Luke 18
27 But He said, “The things that are impossible with people
are possible with God.“

Mark 11:
22 And Jesus answered saying to them, “Have faith in God.
23 “Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up
and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart,
but believes that what he says is going to happen,
it will be granted him.

24 “Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask,
believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.
I believe it has to do with love.
I believe since animals can’t sin or receive the Lord it
is going to be through the Love of the Lord’s Children and the Lord’s love for us.
Understanding what love is and how the word describes it, shows us HIS heart!
Man is made in the image of God and we are over the animals.
So I believe the way for an animal to go to heaven is through the
Love of a Child of God and HIS love of us.

Job 12:7
“But now ask the beasts, and let them teach you;
And the birds of the heavens, and let them tell you.

If Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived didn’t know 100% if animals go to heaven or not, then I can’t see how anyone today can say they will NOT be there! I choose to have HOPE and Believe!

My Daughter’s Answered Prayer to Clearer Vision

Told In Her Own Words

 The Second Letter of Peter chapter 1 verse 9 “For he who lacks these qualities is blind or short-sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins.” Not so very long ago that was the life I had been living. I was lacking the qualities Jesus Christ had meant for me to have in order to glorify His name. A few months ago, my life slowly began to change. In January, the Lord was telling me this is your year for change. I have had many crazy, tragic, and sinful days. I was walking in the darkness and would every once in a while take a small glimpse of the light. He has always been with me, even in my worst days.

I was a performer and teacher for a dance company and Six Flags. I was making a living doing just what I loved to do. What I didn’t realize is the Lord gave me every talent I had to glorify Him. I was abusing my talent and allowing it to lead me in a terrible direction. You see, the Lord has the power to give and take from us. I believe Christ had to take these measures because I wasn’t following Him and He loved me and has plans for me to prosper if I will just follow His will in my life and the choices I make. My eyes have been bad for a long while, but I was always able to wear contacts. Then for some reason ( that I didn’t understand until now), I wasn’t able to wear my contacts anymore. My eyes would get this strange redness around my contacts and by the end of the day would look sickly. I had to wear glasses permanently.

Now, like I said the Lord told me that 2011 is my year for change. How he has shown me is a whole other story.  Ever since January, my life has been continuously changing. There has been ups and downs and in between, but all seem to come with knowledge.  On March 6, 2011 I told the Lord I surrender my life to Him. I told Him I trust in Him and I am ready to redefine true spirituality in my life. After I had decided to take this step, I found myself asking Him daily about even small choices and decisions I needed to make in my life. I asked Him what pediatrician to take my daughter to. He gave me an answer and an amazing one at that. I asked Him if it was His will for me to get Lasik that he will allow a way. I am not currently working and if I was to receive Lasik it would have to be something the Lord wants for me. I had been praying about everything. He showed me exactly where to go and who to go to. I was driving along in my car saying a prayer, asking Him if it was His will to get my eyes fixed when a commercial came on the radio. This commercial was advertising LasikPlus vision centers. I knew this is where the Lord wanted me to go. So I did. He provided a surgeon, money for me to get the operation, and comfort while heading to my appointment. I am so thankful for Christ in my life and the things he has shown me.

What the Lord has shown me is the true cure for blindness. Our God is light Himself. The First Letter of John chapter 1 verse 5 “This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.” If we have Christ in us, He will give us the things we need to glorify Him. God always has and always will look for men and women who say to Him, “I trust in you with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength. I surrender myself to you. I want your way not mine. I believe that your plans and your wisdom are so much better than mine. I am willing to live by faith in Jesus Christ of Nazareth! When a man or woman takes this step, life is never the same. Amen to change!

Finding Comfort After Losing a Loved One In Christ!

The Lord tells us our life here on Earth is just a vapor. But the Life that follows this life is eternal, everlasting.

14 You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.

I understand the pain of losing a loved one. It is so hard when you know you will not be able to see them and hug them, but as Children of God we know this is not the end.

We have the Lord’s word that gives us hope that we will be with our loved ones again.

1 Corinthians 15
16 For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised;

17 and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins.

18 Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.
19 If we have hoped in Christ in this life only, we are of all men most to be pitied.

1 Thessalonians 4

13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope.

Beware of False Prophets

How Pennies Helped Reveal the Truth about A False Prophet!

Acts 2:17

‘AND IT SHALL BE IN THE LAST DAYS,’ God says, ‘THAT I WILL POUR FORTH OF MY SPIRIT ON ALL MANKIND; AND YOUR SONS AND YOUR DAUGHTERS SHALL PROPHESY, AND YOUR YOUNG MEN SHALL SEE VISIONS, AND YOUR OLD MEN SHALL DREAM DREAMS;

In March of 2006 pennies started coming up out of the ground in my backyard, two months before Sammy (my daughter’s boyfriend) took his life, I found a total of 43 pennies and that is how I learned about the false prophet my daughter and Sammy were sending money to. The final day when I found 5 pennies was the night my daughter saw a vision of Sammy (a deceptive spirit) standing at the sliding glass door that lead to the backyard.  She was wide awake when she saw the vision and it scared her, I even laid my hand on her chest and could feel her heart pounding. She quickly grabbed her bible and opened it. That is when she said mom “LOOK What it Says!

9 “When you enter the land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall not learn to imitate the detestable things of those nations. 10 “There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, 11 or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. 12 “For whoever does these things is detestable to the LORD; and because of these detestable things the LORD your God will drive them out before you. 13 “You shall be blameless before the LORD your God. 14 “For those nations, which you shall dispossess, listen to those who practice witchcraft and to diviners, but as for you, the LORD your God has not allowed you to do so.
15 “The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your countrymen, you shall listen to him. 16 “This is according to all that you asked of the LORD your God in Horeb on the day of the assembly, saying, ‘Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, let me not see this great fire anymore, or I will die.’ 17 “The LORD said to me, ‘They have spoken well. 18 ‘I will raise up a prophet from among their countrymen like you, and I will put My words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. 19 ‘It shall come about that whoever will not listen to My words which he shall speak in My name, I Myself will require it of him. 20 ‘But the prophet who speaks a word presumptuously in My name which I have not commanded him to speak, or which he speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.’ 21 “You may say in your heart, ‘How will we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?’ 22 “When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not come about or come true, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.

After reading it my daughter told me how she and Sammy had been getting letters from a prophet. I learned his name was Prophet Peter Popoff who I had never heard of at the time. I wanted to know more. I learned she and Sammy were sending him money. She told me she had some of his letters out in her car. I started checking this guy out on the Internet and the Lord was quickly letting me know this guy was No prophet of God as he claimed. Many people are being deceived. In his letters, he would tell them to do certain things in order to bring forth miracles. Now you may be wondering where the pennies come into play.  The very first letter I saw had 5 pennies drawn at the top of the page with a penny he sent that he claimed was anointed with Holy Prayer. He gives instructions on what to do with each coin. He told them to say certain words out loud. Another letter described how to receive the 3 trinity gifts saying for the Father to pay $107.00, for the son pay $77.00 and for the Holy Spirit pay $67.00. I found this outrageous that he takes advantage of those hurting for his financial gain.
Now my daughter and Sammy fell victim into believing he was a man of God and followed the directions given to them with the pennies.  I pray by sharing this story others won’t fall victim to his scams and the scams of other deceivers. I will show examples of his letters and this is not all of them.
The pages are not in order but you will get an idea of what they consisted of and how some people fall for this. The actual letters come with all the blue writing to make them look personal.

I can only say Peter Popoff is a false prophet who Profits off others. We all need to pray for him!

I do not know how the pennies got in the ground and no one in my family knows. But the timing of them coming up is what is significant.

It was the Lord’s perfect timing!

Should We Put Limits On the Holy Spirit?

 What is the Perfect in 1 Corinthians 13:10?

 1 Corinthians 13:
4 Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, 5 does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, 6 does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things…
8 Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part; 10 but when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away. 11 When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known. 13 But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.

 

Some teach the perfect in 1 Cor. 13:10 is the “Canon of the scriptures”

which leads to putting limits on the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives today.

Look at the Greek meaning for the word perfect..

 

Perfect in 1 Cor. 13:10 is the Greek word teleios

 

 1) brought to its end, finished

2) wanting nothing necessary to completeness

3) perfect

4) that which is perfect

a) consummate human integrity and virtue

b) of men

1) full-grown, adult, of full age, mature

 

    I believe the perfect in this verse refers to the children of God coming face to face with the Lord and being transformed into our glorified bodies, where hope and faith are no longer needed because we will see fully and LOVE is perfected in total UNITY. When will this happen? Let’s look at verses:

1 Cor. 13:12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known.

 

1 John 3:2 Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is.”

THE PERFECT

 When we come face to face with Jesus, when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. He will make us perfect as he is in our glorified body! There will be perfect Unity, perfect Love and His temple will be complete, made up of living stones.

 

As Children of God, we should Never put any limits on the power of the Holy Spirit!

Why is God a Jealous God?

In Exodus 20:5, it is not that God is jealous or envious because someone has something He wants or needs.

Exodus 20:4-5 says,“You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God.” Notice that God is jealous when someone gives to another something that rightly belongs to Him. Exodus 34:14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.

God does not stop with one form of idolatry because He again specifically warns in Leviticus 17:7: “They shall no more offer their sacrifices to demons, after whom they have played the harlot. This shall be a statute forever for them throughout their generations.” And again in Leviticus 20:6, “And the person who turns to mediums and familiar spirits, to prostitute himself with them, I will set My face against that person and cut him off from his people.”

Whenever we start considering tolerance of other faiths, start listening to false teachings, we are really listening to the voice of his enemy, Satan.

Those whose faith deny Jesus as the God in the flesh, the written word calls it the spirit of the antichrist. It is NOT of God! Those teachings teach other ways. God is a jealous God and Jesus said he is the only way.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; NO ONE comes to the Father but through Me. That’s pretty clear. Jesus is the one and only door to eternal life.

John 10:9 “I am the gate (door); whoever enters through me will be saved.
He will come in and go out, and find pasture.” (verse 7) The one and the only door. The door.

2 John 1
7 For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist. 8 Watch yourselves, that you do not lose what we have accomplished, but that you may receive a full reward. 9 Anyone who goes too far and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God; the one who abides in the teaching, he has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house, and do not give him a greeting; 11 for the one who gives him a greeting participates in his evil deeds.

1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; 3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world. We are to Love All people but we still must be willing to stand up for truth even if it is taken as unloving by some. We can NOT be lukewarm Children of God. We need to be willing to show what the word teaches not because we are trying to prove we are right (not arrogantly but because we care) but because eternal lives are at risk and their blood will be on our hands if we have the opportunity and do not try. It does not matter if they take us as unloving, what matter is we do the Lord’s will. Remember we are not here to please man we are here to please the LORD! Jesus told us the world will hate us!!!

John 15:18-23

18 “If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. 19 “If you were of the world, the world would love its own ; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you. 20 “Remember the word that I said to you, ’A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you if they kept My word, they will keep yours also. 21 “But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know the One who sent Me. 22 “If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 “He who hates Me hates My Father also.
