The Little Voice Warning Me!
~Don’t Hide Your Scars~
19 May As a child of God one of the greatest lessons the LORD has
taught me is to use our scars to show HIS Glory.
The Lord heals our wounds but HE lets us keep our scars.
I think of JESUS and the great wounds HE had being nailed to the cross,
but if you noticed when JESUS was resurrected
HIS wounds were healed but HIS scars remained.
Great blessings have come to all God’s children because of the scars JESUS wears!!!
We too are to use our scars for HIM.
Our trials and tribulations are how we are being
molded to become more and more like HIM.
Our Scars are Gifts from the LORD!
They are blessings to help us grow, learn, and used to mold us for HIS purpose.
Don’t hide your scars but use them to help others and to magnify HIM!
God Bless Each of You!

The Stranger At The Door
26 MayThe Little Voice Warning Me!
This occurred 22 years ago when my daughter was 3 and my son was 2. I was a stay-at-home mom, while my husband had a full-time job and worked part-time throwing newspapers in the early mornings. One morning while my husband was out I heard the doorbell ring. Now, this happened around 5:00 AM and it was still dark outside. As I approached the door a little voice in my head told me not to open it. I spoke through the door. On the other side was a woman who told me she had run out of gas and needed to use the phone. I could see her car as I looked out the window.
I was still hearing that little voice telling me not to open the door. I asked her why don’t you give me the number and I will make the call for you? She began to get angry and said this is a long-distance call. I could not understand why that mattered, I could have still made the call for her but she didn’t want me to. Her anger was growing I could hear it in her voice. Then she said, “Just give me some change so I can go use a payphone.” All kinds of thoughts were going through my head by this time. I was thinking about my little children in the other room and the voice was telling me don’t open the door. She then said sarcastically, “If you are scared then I will stand on the sidewalk and you can put the change on the porch.” that didn’t make me feel comfortable because I didn’t know if someone else might be with her. I felt there could be someone standing by the door knowing they could force their way into the house. As I continued hesitating and peeking through the window I saw her and a man walk back and enter the car. The next thing I saw made my heart skip a few beats. The man started the car which was supposed to be out of gas and drove off. I was so thankful for that little voice warning me of danger. I am not sure what would have happened that early morning but I can just imagine how terrible it would have been had my husband came home and found his family lifeless. I know I have been very fortunate in my life and I am thankful that in times of trouble the Lord has never abandoned me. I know my purpose for life was not done and I was being molded to serve him.
I am thankful for the experiences I have had and the lessons I have learned.
God Bless Each of You and Learn From Others!
