Joy, Happiness, and Thankfulness

Joy is not the absence of afflictions,

but having the Lord’s comfort to deal with them.”

Happiness is not found in our material belongings,

but found in our personal relationship with the Lord.”

Thankfulness is not having what you want,
but being content with what you have.”
2 Corinthians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
4 who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
5 For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ.
6 But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; or if we are
comforted, it is for your comfort, which is effective in the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer;
7 and our hope for you is firmly grounded, knowing that as you are sharers of our
sufferings, so also you are sharers of our comfort.
Matthew 6:25 “For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what
you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body,
as to what you
will put on.
Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
26 “Look at the birds of the air, that they do not
sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds
them. Are you not worth much more than they?
27 “Andwho of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life?
28 “And why are you worried about clothing?
Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin,
29 yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all
his glory clothed himself like one of these. 30 “But if
God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow
is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You
of little faith! 31 “Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’
or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’
32 “For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these
things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
33 “But seek first His kingdom and His
righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself.
Each day has enough trouble of its own.

HOW TO PRAY

HOW TO PRAY

Real “JOYcomes from putting (J)esus 1st (O)thers 2nd (Y)ou 3rd.

Pray with a sincere heart, make your words come from the depths of you. Remember you can pray without saying a word. Just thinking the thoughts, God hears you loud and clear.

First thank Jesus for giving his life to save ours and letting him know how much we love him.
Remember your friends and enemies and pray for them.

Give thanks for the good and the bad things in your life. You may ask why the bad things? Because the bad things help us grow spiritually, they make us more appreciative and humble.

Ask for forgiveness of any sins you may have committed.

Ask for strength to overcome all temptations of sin.

Ask for the special request, those things God says if you have faith of a mustard seed you can move a mountain.

Example (I had a kitty for 19 years. I loved her so much. I have been praying and asking the Lord to please give her eternal life. She was my little Angel on Earth.)

Ask for His spiritual wisdom, so you can have a better understanding of God’s will.

Ask for the Holy Spirit to live in you and guide you daily. Ask that the Holy Spirit pray for things that you may not even be aware of.

Ask Jesus to give you a heart that is pleasing to him.

Ask that the Body of Christ finds unity where we can all come together and division will cease.

Believe me He is always listening to our hearts ♥♥♥

***ADDED NOTE***

I found jogging and praying is totally amazing! I like to refer to it as “Going On A Spiritual Run”.

THE WRITTEN WORD MEANS NOTHING WITHOUT LOVE!

Jesus Made Love Mandatory

THE WRITTEN WORD MEANS NOTHING WITHOUT LOVE!

When we use the written word it must be submerged with love in order to help us see the truth.

The word comes alive in the hearts of men and women filled with love!

James 2:13
For judgment will be merciless to one who has shown no mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment.

If we use the written word without love we are worshiping in vain!

Matthew 22: 36-40

Jesus tells us love is the greatest commandment. We are to love him and others. Without love we have nothing.
Without Love means there is No mercy or forgiveness. It causes division, it breaks up families, it is always judging others and casting stones.
We are to be the lights of the world and walk in the Spirit!
Having a heart filled with the fruit of the Spirit, allowing it to pour out on others.

Galatians 5
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

A heart filled with love has No room for hate!
