Is Allah and The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob the Same God?

6 Apr

Is Allah and The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob the Same God?
I first want to say I am sharing this out of Love.
It is NOT intention to condemn anyone, but to merely show that trying to put Islam and Christianity together
goes against both the Bible and the Quran.
There are some major differences that are addressed here. I pray this message will be received in the spirit in which it is given- with love and goodwill.
May the Lord bless each and every one of you!
Let’s examine the Quran and Bible and see what they Say!
Qur’an

Surah

4:171 O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion nor utter aught concerning Allah save the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah, and His word which He conveyed unto Mary, and a spirit from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers, and say not “Three” – Cease! (it is) better for you! – Allah is only One Allah. Far is it removed from His Transcendent Majesty that He should have a son. His is all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is sufficient as Defender.

19:88-92 They say: “(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!” Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter
ruin, That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son.

17:111 Say: “Praise be to Allah, who begets no son, and has no partner in (His) dominion: Nor (needs) He any to protect Him from humiliation: yea, magnify Him for His greatness and glory!” (His) dominion: Nor (needs) He any to protect Him from humiliation: yea, magnify Him for His greatness and glory!” Say: “Those who invent a lie against Allah will never prosper.” A little enjoyment in this world!- and then, to Us will be their return, then shall We make them taste the severest penalty for their blasphemies.

Bible
John 5: 22-23 “For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son so that all will honor the Son even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who
sent Him.

Matthew 11:27 All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal.

John 17:5 “Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

1 John 2:22 Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son. 23 Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also.

We clearly see in the Qur’an, Allah has No son. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob clearly has a son according to the Bible.
John 8:58 Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.

Putting Islam and Christianity is like having a glass of salt water and a glass of fresh water. When you mix the two together you no longer have fresh water.
Another major difference is Islam denies Jesus was ever crucified.

Surah 4:157-159 That they said (in boast), “We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah”;- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise;-And there is none of the People of the Book but must believe in him before his death; and on the Day of Judgment he will be a witness against them;-

The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus was crucified on the cross.

1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. 6 After that He appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time, most of whom remain until now, but some have fallen asleep; 7 then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles.

Matthew 27:35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.

1 Corinthians 1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

1 Corinthians 1:18 For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who
are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

After Jesus was crucified, Thomas His Apostle wanted proof He had risen~

John 20: 24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 So the other disciples were saying to him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the imprint of the nails, and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.” 26 After eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors having been shut, and stood in their midst and said, “Peace be with you.” 27 Then He said to Thomas, “Reach here with your finger, and see My hands; and reach here your hand and put it into My side; and do not be unbelieving, but believing.” 28 Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!” 29 Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, have you believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.

Jesus never denied being God when Thomas called Him “my Lord and my God”

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ Is His Eternal Gift
God knew we could not live the sinless life necessary for heaven. So, in order to offer Himself in our place, he became a man in the person of Jesus Christ.
His own Son. Jesus lived a sinless life on
earth. God said the punishment for sin is death. Since we all have sinned (Romans 3:23, 6:23), we needed someone sinless to die in our place. Jesus, being sinless, died in our place and became the saving grace of the world. He died for all of us! Romans 5:10 says, “For if, when we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!”
The Bible says, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved. ” (Acts 16:31)

Say No To Chrislam, (New World Religion).
Christianity teaches that God became man, lived among us, and then died on the cross for our sins and rose again. Islam, however, denies that Jesus is God or even God’s son, and totally condemns the idea that he died and rose again on the cross. The very essence of the Christian message is totally gone. I pray God’s children will not be deceived.

“He (Jesus) is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities-all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that He himself will come to have first place in everything. For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.” Colossians 1:15-20

I think about King Solomon, when Solomon was old his wives turned his heart after other gods; and his heart was not loyal to the Lord his God, as was the heart of his father David. For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites. Solomon did evil in the sight of the Lord, and did not fully follow the Lord, as did his father David. Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, on the hill that is east of Jerusalem, and for Molech the abomination of the people of Ammon. And he did likewise for all his foreign wives, who burned incense and sacrificed to their gods. Probably Solomon did not see this as a denial of the Lord God of Israel. In his mind, he probably thought that he still honored the Lord, he simply added the honor of these other gods to his honor of the Lord. But this is never acceptable to God. He demands to be the only God in our life. So the Lord became angry with Solomon.

2 John 1: 9 Anyone who goes too far and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God; the one who abides in the teaching, he has both the Father and the Son.

2 Corinthians 11:14 No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

1 Peter 5:8 Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; NO ONE comes to the Father but through Me. That’s pretty clear. Jesus is the one and only door to eternal life.

John 10:9 “I am the gate (door); whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture.” (verse 7) The one and the only door. The door.

Think about this, Noah’s ark had only one door. How many doors are there to heaven? One. Jesus is the only way to heaven. Jesus is the Door. He’s the only way to heaven. Buddha can’t save us. Mohammad can’t save us. According to word of God, Jesus is the only way! The only door!

1 John: 5:11-12: And this is the record, that has given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He that has the Son has life, and he that has not the Son of God has not life.

Allah and The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob can not be the same God.

I love our precious Lord so much and I pray others will not be deceived into believing Chrislam is truth. Satan is very clever, he mixes truth with lies and twist it together so it is hard to see the deceit. Satan will make it appear to be something good and will package like that, offering the world peace and Unity! May Grace be with each of you!

I feel your analysis is unfortunately superficial. The most important aspect of God in Christianity is His personhood and unity, not the trinity. If you read important Catholic and Protestant theological writings, you’ll see this to be the case. Yes, the divinity of Jesus is a point of disagreement between Muslims and Christians, but to say that Christians and Muslims don’t worship the same God is to say that Christians and Jews don’t worship the same God (or Protestants and Catholics, or any denomination of Protestant who disagrees with your particular nuance about the nature of Jesus’ divinity). That being said, I don’t think it’s possible to be a Christian-Muslim. Christianity’s unfortunate core tenant, the divinity of Christ, is refuted in quite details (and very lovingly) in the Qur’an. My prayer is that you come to see Jesus for the great man he was and is without having to resort to divinity to love him.

    Love,

We are to love all people and I believe yes it may seem superficial to man but not to the God. Jesus died for our sins and paid the price with His crucifixion.

John 1:1,14, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God…. 14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
Col. 2:9, “For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form.”

2 Cor. 5:21, “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
1 Peter 2:24, “and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.”
Rom. 8:3-4, “For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”

      God Bless You!

But why does God need to sacrifice a son to forgive? We, as Christians, Jews, and Muslims, believe in God who creates everything from nothing. Can he also not forgive from nothing?

That is what we as Muslims believe: that the God of mercy needn’t jump through hoops to forgive His servants. We believe that He, the Most Exalted and Most High, simply says “you are forgiven,” and a man is forgiven. Is that not the God love and mercy? Why must His son suffer for humanity’s sins if all God can do is say “be,” and man is forgiven?

I choose to believe in such a God: a God of absolute eternal mercy and forgiveness, who isn’t bound by artificial laws that He Himself created. Justice is what God says justice is, and if God says His forgiveness is justice, then His forgiveness is justice.

Jesus was a great man and a beloved Prophet of God. Jesus is the Messiah, and he will save the world from the anti-Christ. Jesus is the virgin son of a pure mother. But Jesus is not God or son. He is prophet and man.

I’m sorry if that offends you, but that is what we as Muslims believe in regards to Jesus.

God bless us all, and may He illuminate the path of righteousness before us evenly!

the reason god had to send his son to forgive us, is because the penalty for sin is death. god is holy. sin is betraying god, going against him. we are to understand how much god hates sin by god stating that the wages of sin is death. he then said it must be a blood sacrifice, and for ages there had to be a blood sacrifice for the remission of sins. but then god said a sacrifice is no longer necessary, and he loves obedience far more than sacrifice, so the then also wanted to show that he was not just a holy god, not just a “just” god, but also a loving god, and he said i will send my son, he will pay the final sacrifice for all sin, of those who will accept that he paid the debt for us on our behalf. if you dont accept that sacrifice then you better still be doing all your sacrifices for the remission of sins, but even in that case, i dont believe it is good enough anymore, even if you did do all the old testament sacrifices, due to the fact, that he said if you didn’t believe in the son, the love of the father to send his son, and the love of the son to give his own life, then you will not go to heaven. he said those who reject the son reject the father also. i pray lovingly that all who read this, will repent of sin, recognize the love of christ, and the love of the father, and accept the fathers gift of the son, and the son’s sacrifice of his own life, both out of love for you, and a willingness to provide a way for you to have eternal life. all you have to do is repent, believe, follow christ, and be saved. praise jesus and hallelujah, jesus christ is coming again soon. prepare to be awed by the messiah jesus christ, all will bow and confess that jesus christ is lord. i pray that you accept him before it is too late. it also states that if you are not written in the lamb’s book of life that you will be cast into the lake of fire for all eternity, so i pray that you consider and i pray that you plead to god with all your heart, to open your eyes and reveal himself to you, that you truly in your heart want to believe in the one true god, and i believe that with a sincere heart, and a sincere prayer, that the holy spirit, the third part of the trinity, will reveal jesus christ the son to you, so that you will forever have access to the father, whose name is yhwh, probably pronounced jehovah. may the holy spirit reveal the one true god to all who are reading this. i pray this in jesus’s name, amen.

AdmiralPrice I understand you have a right to your opinion and belief, I totally respect that. But I believe the bible is God’s inspired word and with that being said I will share this.

The Old testament showed us the practice of sacrificing innocent animals for one’s sins was part of God,s law. When a person acknowledged his sin or trespasses, he would bring a clean animal such as a lamb, bull or goat to be sacrificed on his behalf (Leviticus 4-5). Before offering the animal, the person would lay his hands on it and confess his sins, laying his sins upon the animal so that it could serve as a sacrifice to pay for his sins. Jesus (God in the flesh) was sent to live as a perfect human being, apart from sin. He was temped in every way yet never sinned. Jesus was the perfect lamb and with his sacrifice, animals were no longer needed to cleanse sin. God’s love for us is revealed in that Jesus’ was willing, and God the Father was willing, to allow our sins to be laid upon Him. The Bible prophesied this event throughout the Old Testament. One example is in Isaiah,

“Surely He has borne our sicknesses and carried our pains; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes [blows that cut into His flesh] we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all” Isaiah 53:4-6.

In Romans Chapter 5 it shows the results of justification through the Blood of Christ.

      Romans 5
1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; 4 and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; 5 and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

6 For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. 11 And not only this, but we also exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned— 13 for until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of the offense of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come.

15 But the free gift is not like the transgression. For if by the transgression of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many. 16 The gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned; for on the one hand the judgment arose from one transgression resulting in condemnation, but on the other hand the free gift arose from many transgressions resulting in justification. 17 For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

18 So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men. 19 For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous. 20 The Law came in so that the transgression would increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, 21 so that, as sin reigned in death, even so grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

      May Grace be with you!

1 Corinthians 8:5 For even if there are so-called gods whether in heaven or on earth, as indeed there are many gods and many lords, 6 yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.

    ALLAH IS NOT TRIUNE

Proof that Allah is not Yahweh Elohim of the Holy Bible is that Allah is not a trinity. According to the Holy Bible, there is only One true God (Deuteronomy 6:4; Galatians 3:20).

Yet, at the same time Scripture affirms that this One God eternally exists in three Persons:

    The Father

“…elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father…” 1 Peter 1:2

    The Son

“… looking for that blessed hope and glorious appearing of our Great God and Savior Jesus Christ…” Titus 2:13

    The Holy Spirit

“But Peter said, ‘Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit… you have not lied to men but to God.” Acts 5:3-4

    Three in One

“… baptizing them in the Name (singular – implying unity) of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit (GOD in 3 persons) …” Matthew 28:19

Christians do not believe in three Gods; they believe in a Triune God.

In absolute contradiction according to Muhammad, Allah has a completely different makeup. In Sura from the Quran refers to Jesus by the name of Isa, it emphasizes that Allah is not three:

Sura 4.171 “O followers of the Book! do not exceed the limits in your religion, and do not speak lies against Allah, but speak the truth; the Messiah, Isa son of Marium is only an apostle of Allah and His Word which He communicated to Marium and a spirit from Him; believe therefore in Allah and His apostles, and say not, Three.”

Another major different is Islam denies Jesus was ever crucified.

4:157-159 That they said (in boast), “We killed Christ Jesus the son
of Mary, the Messenger of Allah”;- but they killed him not, nor
crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who
differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only
conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-Nay, Allah
raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise;-And
there is none of the People of the Book but must believe in him before
his death; and on the Day of Judgment he will be a witness against
    them;-

I am sharing some of the prophecies from the Old Testament and
how Jesus fulfilled them. This also shows he was crucified and resurrected for the remission of our sins.

HE WOULD BE BORN OF A VIRGIN
PROPHECY: “The Lord will give you a s
ign: The virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.” Isaiah 7:14
FULFILLMENT: “…God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary… the angel said to her… ‘You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High.’” Luke 1:26-27, 30-32

The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call Him Immanuel which means ‘God with us.'”
    Matthew 1:21-23

    HE WOULD COME TO ZION
PROPHECY: “Rejoice greatly Oh daughter of Zion! Shout Oh daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you!” Zechariah 9:9
FULFILLMENT: “And so all Israel will be saved as it is written: ‘The Deliverer will come from Zion. He will turn godlessness away from Jacob. And this is My covenant with them when I take away their sins'” Romans 11:26-27

    HE WOULD RETURN FROM EGYPT
PROPHECY: “Out of Egypt I called My Son.” Hosea 11:1
FULFILLMENT: “So he got up, took the child and his mother during the night and left for Egypt where he stayed until the death of Herod.” Matthew 2:14-15

HE WAS TO ENTER JERUSALEM ON A DONKEY
PROPHECY: “Behold, your King is coming to you. He is just and having salvation, humble, lowly, and riding on a donkey, a colt, the foal of a donkey.” Zechariah 9:9
FULFILLMENT: “And they brought him to Jesus. And they threw their own clothes on the colt, and they set Jesus on him.” Luke 19:35

HE WILL BE REJECTED BY THE JEWS BUT ACCEPTED BY THE GENTILES
PROPHECY: “He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering.” Isaiah 53:3 “The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.” Isaiah 60:3
FULFILLMENT: “He came to that which was His own, but they did not receive Him.” John 1:11 “For so the Lord has commanded us, ‘I have set
you as a light to the Gentiles that you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.’ Now when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and glorified the word of the Lord.” Acts 13:47-48

HE WILL BE BETRAYED FOR 30 PIECES OF SILVER
PROPHECY: “Then I said to them, ‘If it is agreeable to you, give me my wages. And if not, refrain.’ So they weighed out for my wages thirty pieces of silver.” Zechariah 11:12
FULFILLMENT: “What are you willing to give me if I deliver Him to you? And they counted out thirty pieces of silver.” Matthew 26:15

THE SILVER WILL BE THROWN INTO THE TEMPLE FOR THE POTTER’S FIELD
PROPHECY: “So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them into the house of the Lord for the potter.” Zechariah 11:13
FULFILLMENT: “Then he threw down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed. And they consulted together and bought with them the potter’s field, to bury strangers in.” Matthew 27:5,7

HE WILL BE SILENT BEFORE HIS ACCUSERS
PROPHECY: “He was oppressed and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth.” Isaiah 53:7
FULFILLMENT: “And while He was being accused by the chief priests and elders, He answered nothing.” Matthew 27:12

HIS HANDS AND FEET WILL BE PIERCED
PROPHECY: “Dogs have surrounded me. A band of evil men has encircled me. They pierced My hands and My feet.” Psalm 22:16 “And I will
pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spiri
t of grace and supplication. They will look on Me, the one they have
pierced, and they will mourn for Him as one mourns for an only child…” Zechariah 12:10
FULFILLMENT: “And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him.” Luke 23:33

Jesus was crucified in the typical Roman manner: His hands and feet were nailed to the cross using large spikes. This is very interesting considering crucifixion had not yet been invented. Both verses refer to the different reactions of the witnesses:

Psalms refers to the witnesses who rejected Jesus as the Messiah and rallied for His crucifixion.

Zechariah refers to the witnesses who accepted Jesus as the Messiah and mourned at His crucifixion.

HE WILL SUFFER WITH COMMON SINNERS
PROPHECY: “Because He poured out His soul unto death, He was numbered with the transgressors.” Isaiah 53:12
FULFILLMENT: “Then the two robbers were crucified with Him, one on the right and another on the left.” Matthew 27:38

    HIS FOLLOWERS WOULD FORSAKE HIM
PROPHECY: “My loved ones and my friends stand aloof from my plague, and my relatives stand afar off.” Psalm 38:11
FULFILLMENT: “But His acquaintances and the woman who followed from Galilee stood at a distance watching these things.” Luke 23:49

    HE WOULD BE STARED UPON
PROPHECY: “I can count all My bones. They look and stare at Me.” Psalm 22:17
FULFILLMENT: “And the people stood looking on.” Luke 23:35

LOTS WILL BE CAST FOR HIS GARMENTS
PROPHECY: “They divide My garments among them, and for My clothing they cast lots.” Psalm 22:18
FULFILLMENT: “The soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took His garments and made four parts, to each soldier a part, and also the tunic. Now the tunic was without seam, woven from the top in one piece. They said… ‘Let us not tear it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be.’” John 19:23-24

HE WOULD BE GIVEN GALL AND VINEGAR TO DRINK
PROPHECY: “They also gave me gall for my food and for my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.” Psalm 69:21
FULFILLMENT: “They gave Him sour wine mingled with gall to drink…” Matthew 27:34 “A jar of wine vinegar was there so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a hyssop stalk, and lifted it to Jesus’ lips.” John 19:29

HIS BONES WOULD NOT BE BROKEN
PROPHECY: “He guards all His bones. Not one of them is broken.” Psalm 34:20
FULFILLMENT: “But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs.” John 19:33

    HE WOULD BE PIERCED
PROPHECY: “They will look on Me whom they pierced.” Zechariah 12:10
FULFILLMENT: “But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear.” John 19:34

    THE LAND WOULD BE DARKENED
PROPHECY: “And it shall come to pass in that day says the Lord God that I will make the sun go down at noon and I will darken the earth in broad daylight.” Amos 8:9
FULFILLMENT: “Now from the sixth hour until the night hour there was darkness over all the land.” Matthew 27:45

HE WOULD BE BURIED IN A RICH MAN’S TOMB
PROPHECY: “And they made His grave with the wicked- but with the rich at His death.” Isaiah 53:9
FULFILLMENT: “There came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph…and [he] asked for the body of Jesus… When Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, and laid it in his new tomb.” Matthew 27:57-60

HE WOULD BE CURSED FOR HANGING ON A TREE
PROPHECY: “You must not leave His body on the tree overnight. Be sure to bury Him that same day because anyone who is hung on a tree is under God’s curse.” Deuteronomy 21:23
FULFILLMENT: “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: ‘Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.'” Galatians 3:13

HE WOULD ATONE FOR THE SIN OF MAN
PROPHECY: “And He bore the sin of many and made intercession for the transgressors.” Isaiah 53:12
FULFILLMENT: “God presented Him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in His blood…” Romans 3:25

Before the arrival of the Messiah, Jews were required to atone for their own sins by bringing sacrifices to the temple. When Jesus was crucified, He became the blood sacrifice to atone for all the sins of mankind.

HE WOULD REPRESENT THE PASSOVER LAMB
PROPHECY: “…Each man is to take a lamb for his family… The animals you choose must be year-old males without defect… All the people of the community of Israel must slaughter them at twilight… Then they are to take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of the door frames… On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn… The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt… Do not break any of the bones.” Exodus 12:3, 5-7,12-13,46
FULFILLMENT: “For Christ our Passover Lamb has been sacrificed.” I Corinthians 5:7

The above prophecy is highly symbolic of the coming Messiah:

A blood sacrifice is required to cover sin (Jesus would later shed His blood on the cross to atone for the sins of man).

The Jews were to sacrifice a lamb (Jesus is referred to several times as The Lamb of God).

The lamb must be free of physical deformities (Jesus committed no sin during His life).

The lamb’s bones must not be broken (Jesus’ bones were not broken on the cross, a typical occurrence in crucifixion).

The lamb’s blood would protect God’s people against judgment (Jesus shed His blood so believers would be spared God’s wrath during the last judgment).

Jesus was crucified on the Passover in the year of 33 A.D. He alone fulfilled this prophecy both metaphorically and literally.

    HE WOULD BE RESURRECTED
PROPHECY: “For You will not leave my soul in Sheol nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.” Psalms 16:10
FULFILLMENT: “His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption.” Acts 2:31

After spending three days in the grave, Jesus arose from the dead and appeared to more than 500 witnesses.

    HE ACHIEVED VICTORY OVER DEATH
PROPHECY: “He will swallow up death forever.” Isaiah 25:8
FULFILLMENT: “The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” I Corinthians 15:56-57

          Hi peeps 🙂

I am ex-catholic (presently since 7 years: born again pentecostal) who seek the truth and praying each day to see all as God see it. And… I noticed something during studying life of a prophet Muhammad to join this discussion …

All people who had encounter with One Almighty God, God of Abraham, Isaak and Jacob had very deep and extremely moving, POSITIVE!!!, experience (I know it also from my own personal experience from 13.01.2005 which changed my life forever and for better). Because God Creator is good, extremely demanding but in the same time full of love, compassion and mercy.

However story of Muhammad telling about tremendeous NEGATIVE!!! encounter he had during “receiving the revelations”. (Unfortunettely this is reminding me stories of people possesed by demons!). He said he was experiencing “oppression which were squeezing life out of him”(???) He was “trembling and terrified”(???)…

…Only devil is the lord of lie and fear… who would be interested to convince milions of people to turn off from the real God and follow him to hell 😦

There is no such thing as black people, that is one’s own skin color. At the United Nations, you will find Africans (Hamites) But you will not find Jewish people, (Titus 1:14) the synagogue of Satan there because they built that U.N building with blood sacrifices. When examining the profile of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and comparing it with Allah’s profile, there are a number of distinct differences between them that can only result in one conclusion: These profiles simply do not match! From the Koran~

    Jonah
Sura 10.68 “They say: Allah has taken a son (to Himself)! Glory be to Him: He is the Self-sufficient: His is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth; you have no authority for this; do you say against Allah what you do not know?”

    The Children of Israel
Sura 17.111 “And say: (All) praise is due to Allah, Who has not taken a son and Who has not a partner in the kingdom, and Who has not a helper to save Him from disgrace; and proclaim His greatness magnifying (Him).”

    The Cave
Sura 18.4 “And warn those who say: Allah has taken a son.”

    Marium
Sura 19.35 “It beseems not Allah that He should take to Himself a son, glory to be Him; when He has decreed a matter He only says to it “Be,” and it is.”

Only These THREE are HOLY / RIGHTEOUS / WORTHY / LOVING – GOD the FATHER / GOD the SON Yeshua-Jesus Christ / GOD the HOLY GHOST ( HOLY SPIRIT ) – These THREE are ONE!!

“TRUST in the LORD ( ADONAI ) with all thine HEART and lean NOT on thine own Understanding, in all thy ways Acknowledge HIM and HE Shall Direct thy Paths”!!

Yeshua-Jesus Christ is KING of kings, LORD ( ADOANI ) of lords, HE is the ALPHA and OMEGA, the FIRST and the LAST,. HE is the BEGINNING and the END!! Yeshua-Jesus Christ is the WAY the TRUTH and the LIFE, NO one comes unto the FATHER, but through ME ( Yeshua-Jesus Christ )!! Thus; Yeshua-Jesus Christ is the only WAY to enter into HEAVEN!!

First I would like to tell you that I think you have done a great job of explaining some of the key differences between Allah of the Muslim faith and the God of the Christianity faith. Great job!

Many can argue the differences but one can not argue the fact that in both cases people will kill in the name of either Allah or even in the name of God.

My question is this: is this right? I don’t believe it is!

So when we get engrossed into a discussion about the differences, one of the biggest issue becomes obscure. Though shall not kill! God made man in his own image and loved what he made. But he gave man a choice. Follow me or not. Believe in me or not. He did not say go out and kill any who choose not to believe in me. He didn’t say go out and kill anyone that has decided not to believe exactly they way you believe. He will take care of those non-believers in his own timing. But what he did say was to love your neighbor as yourself. Oh I know that some might say that that is what Jesus said, but even if you are one that believes that Jesus was only a great profit just like Muhammad as done in the Muslim faith, then it is still true. Why would God send two great profits to tell two different stories. One that said love and one that said kill. I challenge anyone that is of the Muslim belief to read the total bible and not just read the Quran. Read them both. Be informed. Don’t allow yourself to only follow someone’s teaching that Allah is the only way and anyone that believes contrary to this are irrelevant and of no meaning and just something to be done away with. If you are Muslim and truly believe that both the God of Christianity and the God of Islam are the same then remember that this God was very unhappy when Cain killed Able. He is not happy when people kill people! I could continue but it would diminish the issue of “Thou Shall NOT Kill”. It is time for every human on earth to take account of life and how precious it is. I know what I believe and will tell anyone. I also know it is wrong to kill in the name of God! It is wrong to allow anyone of your faith to kill in the name of God!

It is time for people to get to the heart of the matter. To get to the truth. Get into the history behind the writing of the Bible and the Quran and who wrote what and why. God is the truth and if Allah is really the same God then learn to love your neighbor as yourself because that is what God commanded. Stop using man made rules and writings to justify killing.

Amen Bill well said, ~ I love the words of Jesus spoken on His summon on the Mount! Everything he spoke of had to do with the heart of man.
Matthew 5:43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR and hate your enemy.’ 44 “But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

That is a great question. The word teaches the Jews are God’s chosen people, and through them came the Jewish Messiah to bless all the nations of the earth. And it is only through Jesus that one can find God’s complete atonement and forgiveness.
Individual Jews are no exception they too must come to Christ for salvation. Being a part of the nation of Israel did not guarantee entrance into Heaven prior to the cross, nor does it today. Prior to Jesus’ earthly incarnation, the people did not know God’s full plan of redemption. They only knew that God had promised to send a Redeemer to save them. In the Garden of Eden, God promised a Seed to come in Genesis 3:15 and He confirmed that promise to Abraham, revealing the Seed would come through His line in Genesis 15. It was trusting faith, faith in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. That brought salvation of the Lord to the people of Israel prior to the cross. In Hebrew 11 it speaks of the Old Testament saints who died in faith and became heirs of righteousness. Jesus taught, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6 The earliest followers of Jesus affirmed Jesus teachings “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 As a result, not everyone will automatically go to heaven when they die including Jews. The only path provided by Jesus is faith in Him. As He taught in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” Romans 5:8 teaches, “God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” This great love brought Jesus from heaven to earth to live, die, and return to life to provide the opportunity for us to have eternal life by believing in Him.

We as Muslim deny god have a son

Son in bible doesn’t mean begotten son

Son referred also to many prophets and nations

Luke 3:38 the son of Enosh, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God. – Bible Hub

    Adam son of god

Abraham ve Isaac never claimed Jesus is God neither they worshipped him

The bible teaches Jesus is the Only Begotten son. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are all One. God is not limited by space, time or matter. He allowed himself to be made flesh and humbled himself, while being almighty at the same time. It is something our brains are not going to truly understand while we are in our physical body.
